Compress PDFs, put them together, take them apart and tidy their pages, without uploading them anywhere. Every page shows on one board: drag to reorder, rotate the sideways ones, remove what you don't need, then save one PDF or several, as they are or compressed.
How it works
- Add one or more PDFs, or try the sample.
- Arrange the pages: drag to reorder, rotate or remove.
- Save as one PDF, a PDF per page, or a PDF per range.
Questions
- Can I merge several PDFs?
- Yes. Add them all: their pages line up on the board, labelled by file (A, B…), and One PDF saves them as a single document in the order you set.
- How do I compress a PDF?
- Add it and choose Compress under File size. The pictures inside are re-saved smaller, while text, shapes and links stay sharp and selectable. Move the Image quality slider to balance size and sharpness, and see the new size before you save. If a PDF has little to compress, the original is kept.
- What's the difference between Compress and Smallest?
- Compress keeps the PDF a real PDF: only its pictures change. Smallest saves every page as an image, which shrinks scans the most, but the text can no longer be selected or searched.
- Can it open password-protected PDFs?
- Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF app first, then add the PDF.
- Is PDF Toolkit free?
- Yes. PDF Toolkit is free to use with a free account, and there are no watermarks. Pro adds bigger batches and more tools.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser, on your device. Your files are never uploaded to a server.
